Last year we had the opportunity to design and install a very beautiful and classic wardrobe that transformed to a high-end walk-in closet and total bedroom project. All the interior projects are custom made and fully designed to fit.
Kitchen design – Interior building - Fitted cabinets and wardrobes
This blog is about a combined interior project we did in a village just outside Amsterdam. The specialization of OOCK Amsterdam is the design, production and fitting of complete interiors. The specializations of OOCK are kitchens and fitted furniture and cabinets like wardrobes, bookshelves, bathroom cabinets and room dividers.
Modern kitchen design
In this house we faced a challenge to design a modern and custom made kitchen with warm natural elements. The modern parts of the design are the white gripless doors sprayed in a crispy white color. The natural element in this bespoke kitchen is the concrete countertop and the oak fronts as part of the kitchen. The oak fronts are oiled in a color from Monocoat. Those elements give warmth to the design in the kitchen. Other elements of influence are the concrete floors, the black steel elements, glass and of course the stainless steel of the oven of Wehstahl.
A classic custom made kitchen at Keizersgracht in Amsterdam. At the end of 2015 we had the chance to design and install a classic and custom made kitchen in a very classic and classy environment. The canal district in Amsterdam is the most fancy and classic set of streets in the Netherlands. The good thing about this is that all elements in the kitchen can be classic like the rest of the house: marble top, classic farrow and ball paint, classic doors and solid wood. The kitchen was ordered by VIOS bouw and architect Jurg Hertog (Emma architecten).

Vaak zijn dit prachtige ambachtelijk gemaakte kasten met exact de houtprofileringen gekopieerd die al in bijvoorbeeld het jaren 30 huis aanwezig zijn. Vaak worden de schuifdeuren uitgevoerd met mooi bijpassend glas in lood. Echter dit hoeft niet altijd zo.
